Los Angeles County Museum Of Art
I performed my my masters at UCLA in
the 80s and one of the museum's that would
go most often too would be the
museum of modern art in Los Angeles and found it a
fun museum you know certainly contemporary
artists sort of synonymous with Los Angeles and all the Western art genre and
so so I really found in an excellent resource for my research the LA County
Museum.
I just really enjoyed but one thing
I guess I was fortunate to work with and to visit so many of the private
galleries which were very strong and supportive of the art then also that the
museum exhibited okay so there was a strong support between private galleries
Los Angeles County Museum Of Art
and public spaces also they had a
very interesting program where they rented art to private spaces being a corporation
or be it home you could rent an original work of art at the fraction of the
value then if you were to purchase it so in a year's time you could have this
famous work in your house and you didn't have to purchase.
It so so it was an interesting
program I felt that was unique to that museum……….
